Our Story
An Inspiring Flop!
Each with one tiny human in tow, friends invited us to go on a cross-country ski trip. The boys took the kids on their backs in child carrier backpacks and ended up back at the vehicles fairly quickly.
Despite all bundling expertise, the bottom line was that the kiddos were immobile as adults did all the physical work!
Frustrated with the adventure flop we came home and started building garments that could serve as a cover for child carrier backpacks, the birth of The Cozy Cloak.
About Us.
We are two working parents unwilling to give up on year-round outdoor adventures, despite having two tiny humans. The Cozy Cloak was developed out of necessity after a failed cross-country ski trip. Our roots are in forest resource management and nutrition so a pivot into the fashion world has been a long journey and learning experience.
Vision becomes reality.
The Cozy Cloak has evolved from the original which was made in haste, by cutting apart two hooded sweatshirts, using a staple gun and duct tape! From that early version, we have tested and sourced the best materials and we enlisted the help of a few talented folks to help bring our vision to life. We are proud to share this unique coat made with high-end materials with you.
